CERBEC balls in a hybrid bearing are 50% stiffer than steel balls. Their high modulus of elasticity provides a significant improvement in machine tool spindle rigidity, with reduced spindle and cutting tool vibration. For the end user, this means improved work piece surface finish, improve tool life, and higher precision machining.
